Your Responsibilities

Managing the purchasing process from demand identification through to delivery tracking
Procurement of electronic parts, components, assemblies, and mechanical parts
Close collaboration with the R&D/engineering department on component research, and alternative and second-source management in cases of discontinuations and supply shortages
Requesting, evaluating, and negotiating quotes through to a decision-ready stage
Maintaining master data and bills of materials (BOM management) in close coordination with engineering
Sourcing, developing, and evaluating national and international suppliers
Coordinating import handling and managing long-term supplier declarations

What You Bring

Completed commercial/business vocational training and very good technical understanding
Professional experience purchasing electronic and mechanical components
Ideally, experience dealing with typical challenges of the semiconductor market (e.g. discontinuations, long lead times, allocation/rationing)
Good working knowledge of an ERP or inventory management system
Independent, structured, and precise way of working
Very good written and spoken German and good English
