Last week ITMA Asia + CITME 2010 closed the doors and for SETEX it was a big success. We expected mainly visitors from China, but we welcomed also many visitors from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and countries of the Middle East on our booth.

The Setex booth was located in the German Section. With occupied 5400 m2, “Made in Germany” was the largest non-Chinese country in the exhibition. On the SETEX booth most attention was given to the OrgaTEX production management software, the SECOM CE controllers and the exceptional customer service through our local teams of the numerous SETEX Asia subsidiaries.

A very important field of competence for SETEX is the OEM business with dye machine suppliers. SETEX wants to say “thank you” to all our partners, who demonstrated their machines „powered by SETEX“ on the exhibition.

At this show SETEX was also present as partner on the Datacolor booth. As China starts integrating sustainability into whole textile industry chain, SETEX and Datacolor showed Advanced Green Textile processing technology solutions through intelligent integrations from lab to production in textile dyeing and finishing.

Chinese supplier of controllers develop little by little their own style of hardware. But there are still many controllers obviously imitating our best practice models. Looking to the left and right at ITMA ASIA we had a lot of “Déjà-Vu-Moments”. They say, in China a copy expresses always his appreciation for the Original. If this is true, in Shanghai the atmosphere was full of respect for SETEX.
