CCD camera system for fully automatic monitoring of the fabric density and for overfeed control
The intelligent CCD camera system CamCOUNT has an integrated microprocessor and an automatic illumination system for reflective and trough-light operation. The camera detects automatically the optimum settings for every kind of fabric in order to achieve the best measurement results. The connection to a SECOM controller with resistive touch screen allows for an easy and interactive operation. The visual control takes place via the display of the fabric on screen and in the process visualization. For the visual control also a digital picture of the fabric can be shown.


Advantages
Principal advantages of a camera system:
  • The camera produces a digital picture of the fabric, measurements can be made with moving or still standing fabric
  • Reliable measurement of the fabric density (threads/meshed per cm) by using extreme short strobes especially for higher fabric speeds.
  • Picture can be stored and further be used in a standard format (JPG), e.g. sending it by e-mail, remote diagnosis and Teleservice
  • Exact measurement and control of the overfeed and logging of the thread/mesh count at the outlet.
